Multiple charges were served on a man arrested by the Highway Patrol early yesterday morning. 37-year-old Bronson Lee Starnes of 202 Humming Court, Fountain Inn was charged with 3rd Offense Driving under the Influence and 3rd Offense Driving under Suspension in tickets issued at 2:30 yesterday morning on Highway 14 six miles west of Gray Court. Starnes was also charged with being an Habitual Traffic Offender. Warrants were served later in the day also charging him with two counts, Possession of a Controlled Substance. These accuse him of having a half-milligram and a full milligram pill of Xanax in his possession when arrested by Trooper Gabriele Tuesday morning. Bronson Lee Starnes remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning with bonds totaling $25,000.
