A Gray Court man met with a Sheriff’s officer Tuesday morning and told of a theft from his vehicle on Spring Street. He indicated the dogs making a lot of noise woke him around 12:30 am. He went to the front door from where he said he observed a man running from his front yard where his truck was parked. He said the truck had been moved from where it had been parked the previous day. He observed the fleeing male get into a red or burgundy vehicle and leave the scene. The man was reportedly carrying a bucket as he fled the victim’s yard, which belonged to the victim. A check on the victim’s Blazer yesterday morning indicated that in addition to the theft of his bucket, he’s also missing a Kenwood car stereo and a Gorman GPS device. The theft value was estimated at $350.
