The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Green Pond Farms Road just after 4 yesterday afternoon on a report of a stabbing. Deputy Jamie Lee Edwards met with the complainant at the corner of Green Pond Farms Road and Highway 101 South and found the man bleeding from his head. The man told of an argument with his girlfriend who had reportedly said she should have stayed with her x-boyfriend and not gotten back with him. He said she picked up a knife and cut him with it. Meanwhile, Lt. Cheek talked with the girlfriend who reportedly indicated the man had assaulted her during the argument, during which he allegedly bit her on the shoulder then got in her face and bit her lip. She said she picked up the knife to open cookies for the kids when they came into the room. After talking with the man and woman and examining the physical evidence, Investigators reportedly determined the man as the primary aggressor. 30-year-old Brandon KP Hill of 204 Hunters Court, Laurens was arrested and placed in the Johnson Detention Center. He was being held for a warrant to be sought, charging Criminal Domestic Violence. Hill reportedly refused to be taken to the hospital for the cuts to his head, and was bandaged at the scene by EMS.
