Laurens County Deputies went to a house on Mordeci Mountain Road, Gray Court at 7:31 Friday night after receiving information about a possible meth lab in operation there. After getting permission from another resident to search, deputies reportedly found an 18-gallon green tote with items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. A burn pit was allegedly discovered outside the mobile home residence. 39-year-old James Donald Loper of 1066 Mordeci Mountain Road, Gray Court was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Illegal Disposal of Meth and Possession of a small amount of Methamphetamine. James David Loper was released from the Johnson Detention Center Saturday on Personal Recognizance bonds totaling $6,000 on the three charges.
