A home burglary back in May of this year was cited yesterday with an arrest by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office. 31-year-old Timothy Paul “Timmy” Davenport of 113Wilson Bridge Road, Fountain Inn was charged with Grand Larceny and 1st Degree Burglary. Lt. Bryant Cheek states that on May 7th 2014 Timothy Paul Davenport entered a dwelling in the 600 block of Old Laurens Road, Fountain Inn without consent and with intent to commit a crime therein. Lt. Cheek states that Davenport entered the dwelling and became armed with a deadly weapon. Timmy Davenport allegedly took away items valued at $3,500 from a man and woman of that residence. These items included a pocketbook, a 410 pump shotgun, a single shot rifle, a 40-caliber pistol, a box of checks and two digital cameras. During arraignment yesterday, bond was denied on both charges. Timothy Paul Davenport remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
