Piedmont Technical College recently received re-accreditation from the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for the Electronic Engineering Technology and Engineering Graphics Technology programs. These programs have been accredited since 1976 at Piedmont Technical College and are now accredited through September 2020.
Engineering technology department head Sandy Warner said “The accreditation is a testament to the level of excellence of the engineering technology programs at Piedmont Technical College.”
Warner added “We have really good programs and this continues to be supported by ABET,” said Warner. “Our accreditation allows us to have transfer opportunities, helps us obtain grants and ensures we maintain a first-rate program that benefits the students.”
