No one came forward at the two public hearings that were held before county council voted on third reading of two ordinances last evening.
Council then unanimously approved County Ordinance 775 which authorizes the amendment of the county’s original principal amount of a $3,000,000 taxable special source revenue bond for Z.F. Transmissions, which is now outstanding in the principal amount of $3, 059,731.39. From FILOT payments, the county pledges the planned Special Source Revenue Bond payments of $775,000.00 in 2015, $1,050,000.00 in 2016, and $1,502,169.87 in 2017.
Also unanimously approved with final reading last night was County Ordinance 778 which authorizes an amendment to the fee in Lieu Agreement, between the county and Anderson Hardwood Floors. The amendment was necessary due to the fact that Anderson Hardwood Floors acquired 100% ownership interests in Appalachian Engineered Floors and its sponsor affiliates and the company converted to a limited liability company. The terms of the fee agreement were extended.
County Council last night gave 2nd reading approval for Ordinance 779, which provides for a series of economic incentives for an upcoming project at the Owens Industrial Park, now known as “Project Lambeau.”
