Laurens City Police delivered 34-year-old Strephen Tron Case of 261 Forest Road, Clinton to the county detention center early this morning. He’s charged with three counts of Attempt to Purchase Ephedrine, 3rd Offense.
Detective Leann Riggott cites three days over the past two months where Stephen Tron Case allegedly attempted or conspired to purchase in excess of 9 grams of nonprescription ephedrine within a 30-day period. She states these occurred at Walgreens on East Main on October 17th and at Rite Aid on North Harper on November 18th and 24th. On each of the three warrants Riggott states that this is the subject’s 3rd offense. Mr. Case was being held for booking earlier this morning.
