Bond was denied on Kidnapping charges served on a Clinton man yesterday. 30-year-old Tomeze Mondale Wise of 1016 North Sloan Street was arrested after Clinton Public Safety was dispatched his residence just before 10 Tuesday morning to stand by while a woman retrieved items from her home. She reportedly had bruises and small cuts on her face and was crying, apparently very upset. When Officer Thomas Peay inquired, she reportedly told of being assaulted by her boyfriend the previous night, and that at one point she was locked in a closet, then later let out when her kids woke up and began to cry. Wise had allegedly been under the influence and indicated he didn’t remember all the events of the night. Tomeze Wise was held and warrants were obtained and served on him yesterday.
Bond was denied on the Kidnapping charge. A $5,000 cash or surety bond was set on the charge of Criminal Domestic Violence. A $3,000 bond was set on a third charge from an alleged incident once he was under arrest. He’s charged with being a Prisoner Throwing Bodily Fluids. Wise was being held in the Johnson Detention Center.
