Charges were served yesterday for a man who had reportedly responded to a complaint from an upstairs neighbor about his pounding on the ceiling of his apartment by threatening her with a knife. Clinton Public Safety was called out just after midnight yesterday morning. 51-year-old Lonnie Lee Wilkes Jr. of 505 North Broad, #8, Clinton was charged yesterday with Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature.
