The Laurens District 55 High School robotics team 4451 – Robotz Garage – finished qualification rounds at the Palmetto Regional in 3rd place last weekend and teamed up with the number 1 seed – team 3824 RoHAWKtics from Knoxville, Tennessee and team 4073 – the RoboKatz from Myrtle Beach – to compete in the elimination rounds.
This three-team alliance won the Palmetto Regional and won a spot in the FRC World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri, in April. The team also won the Imagery Award for their unique branding.
