Laurens Police responded to Spring Street at 8:30 last night on a report of a vehicle hit and run in the parking lot at Hilltop Apartments. A woman reported her car was struck by an early model gold Explorer. The unidentified driver got of the vehicle and was apparently going to exchange insurance information with her but when the driver learned she was calling police the driver fled the scene.
