A man has been charged with breaking into an ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulting her last month. Arrested Wednesday, 40-year-old Anthony Dennis Massey of 586 Georgia Acres Road, Gray Court was served yesterday with warrants charging him with 1st Degree Burglary and Criminal Domestic Violence. In the warrants for these two charges, Sheriff’s Sgt. Ron Wood cites investigation of Corporal Brent Rushing as indicating that on February 21st 2015 Anthony Dennis Massey entered a dwelling on Ridgecrest Drive, Fountain Inn without consent and with intent to commit a crime therein, entering at night and causing physical injury to a person, his ex-girlfriend. Massey allegedly broke out a window to gain entry into the house and after entering pushed the victim and poked her in the face, also stating to her he would kill her. Bond was denied on the 1st Degree Burglary charge, but a $5,000 bond was set on the Criminal Domestic Violence case. Anthony Dennis Massey remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
