Four people were charged yesterday with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, following their arrests by Sheriff’s Deputies in the overnight hours. The four were brought to the Johnson Detention Center in the early morning hours Monday.

Two of the four were residents of the home where materials used in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine were allegedly located Sunday night. They are 31-year-old Tammy Lee Evans and 19-year-old Malcolm Issiah Robinson, both of 134 Kathy’s Drive, Clinton. In warrants served on Evans and Robinson, Sheriff’s Sgt. Nick Moye states that on March 22nd both Tammy Evans and Malcolm Robinson had items in their possession that are used in the manufacture of methamphetamine at 134 Kathy’s Drive, and that they unlawfully disposed of methamphetamine at that location. Both were also accused of being in possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine Sunday night. Ms. Evans was actually charged with 2nd Offense on her charges, with Sgt. Moye noting that she has previous convictions for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Illegal Disposal and Possession of Meth. During arraignment yesterday, bond was denied for 31-year-old Tammy Lee Evans and 19-year-old Malcolm Issiah Robinson. Both remained in the Johnson Detention Center today.

Also charged yesterday with Manufacturing Meth, Unlawful Disposal of Meth Waste and Possession of Methamphetamine were 17-year-old Nicholas Edward Pope of 3704 Watts Bridge Road, Cross Hill and 17-year-old Christopher Jordan Collins of 7434 Old Milton Road, Clinton. In warrants, Sgt. Nick Moye also alleges that Pope and Collins were in possession of items used in the manufacture of meth at 134 Kathy’s Drive, that they unlawfully disposed of meth waste there and were in possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine on March 22nd.

Cash or Surety bonds were set totaling $40,000 on the three charges for Pope and Collins. Nicholas Edward Pope and Christopher Jordan Collins also remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
