Another Wire Fraud case involving tax returns was reported to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday morning. A Clinton area woman advised Sgt. Ron Wood that she filed her income tax return in Greenwood on the 7th of April and the agency there contacted her on the 8th and advised her that someone has already used her social security number. The case was referred to Investigations at the Sheriff’s Office.
