Sheriff’s Corporal Farrah Cook responded to a home in the Sandy Springs Community at 10:37 last night on a report of a domestic dispute. She located the complainant walking on the roadway, and she said that she and her girlfriend had an argument over cheating and a cell phone. She said that during their argument the girlfriend had punched her in the eye and pushed her around before she called 911. Corporal Cook spoke with the other woman, who gave a different account of what happened. She reportedly said the victim was hit in the eye with the cell phone when she jerked it out of her hand and it struck her in or near her eye. The officer explained to both women that due to conflicting reports of what happened, she could not determine what had happened. The first woman insisted she wanted to prosecute, so the officer noted she would talk with a magistrate about the matter.
