22-year-old Gerald David McConnell of 34 Orlando Avenue, Greenville was placed in the Laurens County Detention Center yesterday with six bench warrants charging him with Failure to Appear in General Sessions Criminal Court February 2nd. Noting previous addresses in Laurens and Mauldin, the Bench Warrants state he failed to show in Court to face three cases of Malicious Injury to real property in attempts to steal nonferrous metals, two for failure to appear on 2nd Degree Burglary charges and one case of Prisoner in Possession of Contraband. Gerald “Blaze” or “Jerry” McConnell remains in the Johnson Detention Center, pending his next court appearance.
