The Sheriff’s Office yesterday arrested a woman on child neglect charges from an alleged situation this past summer. 34-year-old Delisha Rhodes Broome of 45 Vern Cora Road, Laurens was served with two counts of Neglect. Warrants alleged that on August 31st she placed at unreasonable risk of harm or caused bodily harm or abandonment of a minor child that she had custody of as the child’s parent or guardian. Delisha Broome was released from the Johnson Detention Center on personal recognizance bonds totaling $20,000.
