The Sheriff’s Office yesterday charged a man in connection with a break-in and theft from Highway 221 in the Waterloo area early this year. 35-year-old Reggie Demon Mobley of 9994 Highway 221 South, Waterloo was arrested Wednesday. Yesterday, warrants were served charging him with 2nd Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny. Lt. Martin states that on February 7th Mobley entered a dwelling at an address on US Highway 221 South, Laurens without consent and with intent to commit a crime therein. He then allegedly took away items valued at more than $10,000 with intent to permanently deprive the victim. Cash or surety bonds were set totaling $22,000. Reggie Demon Mobley remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
