Laurens Police responded to a Garlington Street residence at 11:01 last night, where a man reported his son had come to his residence and stole chicken nuggets from his freezer. The father advised the officer that the son no longer lives in the residence. He named a woman who brought the son to the house, and took him back to their house on Church Street, and said he wanted trespass notices served on both his son and his female companion. Master Patrolman Patrick Craven completed a trespass notices for both subjects and served it on them. He reports that they accepted the notices, and that he was able to retrieve the chicken nuggets and return them to the rightful owner.
