South Carolina D-HEC yesterday arrested a Laurens County man on three charges of attempting to illegally obtain drugs. 35-year-old Frank Russell Addis Jr. of 5755 Indian Mound Road, Laurens was served with two warrants citing Fraud in Acquisition of Oxycodone. They allege fraud in attempts to obtain the drug from Rite-Aid in Laurens on September 30th and October 3rd. A third warrant alleges that also on October 3rd at Rite Aid Mr. Addis unlawfully used the DEA number of a doctor in an attempt to acquire a controlled substance. Frank Addis was released on $9,000 personal recognizance bond.
