The Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of meth waste located Saturday morning. Members of the Sandy Springs Fire Department were cleaning up debris from Highway 308 and located a suspicious bottle near the roadway. It was a small plastic bottle that contained a liquid and had a rubber hose coming from the top. Sgt. Carter called Lt. Shelton about the clean-up, and noted that three more plastic bottles and misc trash were located a few hundred feet away from the first bottle found. Lt. Shelton arrived on scene and took possession of the meth waste for proper disposal.
