A report of a home invasion dispatched Laurens City Police to a residence in the 600 block of South Harper Extension at 10:50 Christmas night. Officer Melissa Johnson met with a woman who said she answered a knock to her door and two women ran into her house and looked through it for someone, then left after not finding whoever they were looking for. She noted one woman carried a knife. Laurens Police identified two possible suspects in the Friday night home invasion, but no arrest was made through last night.
