The prosecution continued presenting its case yesterday in the Murder trail of a Mountville woman in Laurens County General Sessions Criminal Court. 58-year-old Kathy Leonard Revan of 315 Revan Drive, Mountville is charged with Murder in the death of one woman and with Attempted Murder for allegedly shooting at another.
Kathy Revan is charged with causing the death of Shawn Morrigan by shooting her with a gun at 315 Revan Drive, Mountville on August 11th, 2011; and of attempting to kill Tammy J. Morrigan by shooting at her at Revan Drive on the same date.
Shawn and Tammy were partners from out of state who had been staying in Mountville, visiting Tammy’s father at the Revan Drive residence where he lived with Ms. Revan.
The state yesterday afternoon had Sheriff’s Lt. Ben Blackmon on the stand as it continued presenting its case against Kathy Revan.
In addition to the charges of Murder and Attempted Murder, Kathy Revan is also charged with Use of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime.
As of mid-afternoon yesterday, the defense was yet to start making its case.
