A Mountville woman was found guilty Friday of the killing of one woman and the attempt to kill another during a shooting at her home August 11, 2011. 58-year-old Kathy Leonard Revan of 315 Revan Drive, Mountville was convicted on charges of Voluntary Manslaughter, Attempted Murder and Use of a Weapon in a Crime.
Kathy Revan was sentenced to 20 years in the State Department of Corrections on the Voluntary Manslaughter and the Attempted Murder charges, with the sentences to run concurrent. Another 5-year sentence was added to run consecutively for the firearms charge, so that Ms. Revan is now facing 25 years in the state prison system.
She was convicted of the fatal shooting of Shawn Morrigan and of attempting to kill Tammy J. Morrigan during the shooting at her home in August of 2011. Kathy Leonard Revan was placed in the Johnson Detention Center, pending transfer into the state prison system.
