The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked two men in connection with alleged meth labs at two Waterloo locations on a date in early January.
Delivered to the Johnson Detention Center from the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office was 35-year-old Christian Adison Sturkey of 64 Victory Drive, Cheraw. Also arrested was 57-year-old Bobby Harold Harris of 87 Square Grove Road, Waterloo. Both were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and with Illegal Disposal of Methamphetamine waste. Narcotics Investigator Matt Veal states that on January 9th each had in his possession items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, possessed less than one gram of methamphetamine and did unlawfully dispose of methamphetamine waste. Christian Sturkey allegedly had meth and meth manufacturing materials that date at 34 Reynolds Drive, Waterloo, while Bobby Harris allegedly committed his violations at his address, 87 Square Grove Road, Waterloo.
Christian Sturkey and Bobby Harris were being held in the Johnson Detention Center for a bond hearing at 4 this afternoon.
