“I just enjoy working with everyone on County Council. I like identifying problems and finding solutions.” So said Laurens County Councilman Keith Tollison as he announced on Friday that he would be seeking re-election to Laurens County Council representing District 5.
Tollison said that each of his fellow council members brings a different perspective to the table. He said he’s learned to listen carefully to each of them. He said “Sometimes someone across the table says something that makes you realize you’ve never looked at an issue from their angle and their views really do make sense. I think in order to make the right call you have to look at problem from every angle.” Keith Tollison said that he has enjoyed his service on council and that he’s tried to do a good job. “I think I have.” and he said “I hope the voters in District 5 think so too.”
