A husband and wife from Laurens County’s Green Pond community were served charges yesterday alleging a mutual assault between them Sunday. On that day the Sheriff’s Office had arrested 33-year-old Angel Lynn Miles and 32-year-old Christopher Jordon Miles, of 6921 Green Pond Road, Gray Court. Both were charged with Domestic Violence 2nd Degree. The assaults were reportedly committed in the presence of their minor child.
Deputy Thomas Boyd states that on April 28th Angel Miles committed 2nd Degree Domestic Violence by attempting to push the victim from the driver’s seat of the vehicle and, while doing so, scratched him on the right side of his face and head.
Deputy Boyd states that on April 28th Christopher Miles committed 2nd Degree Domestic Violence by placing his hand on the victim’s chest and pushing her.
Angel Miles remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning with a bond set at $5,000. Christopher Miles was released yesterday afternoon on posting a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
