Deputy Sheriff Farrah Cook was dispatched to Apple Orchard Road at 1:22 Sunday morning on a report of a young man putting his mother out of her car on US 76 and her having to walk home. The youth was reportedly located in his bedroom. He allegedly fled arrest, running into nearby woods. Deputies were notified at 4:37 Sunday morning that he was back home. He reportedly struggled with officers, resisting arrest at that time. 18-year-old Ryan Zane Jackson of 3302 Apple Orchard Road, Clinton was charged with Use of a Vehicle without Permission, Petit Larceny of a Cell Phone and two counts of Resisting Arrest. Deputy Farrah Cook states that on July 6th Ryan Zane Jackson took a cell phone that did not belong to him; that he took a vehicle that belonged to someone else and used it without her permission, and that twice yesterday he did knowingly and willfully oppose and resist lawful arrests. Bonds on the four charges totaled $16,000. Ryan Zane Jackson remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
