A domestic violence arrest was made in Joanna last night. The Sheriff’s Office arrested a Clinton woman on charges of Criminal Domestic Violence and Public Disorderly Conduct. 25-year-old Evelyn Deanna Leake of 602 Jefferson Street, Clinton was issued tickets charging her with the two offenses by Deputy Kenneth Sibley. They cite domestic violence and disorderly conduct at 8:00 last evening on Laurens Street. Evelyn Deanna Leake was being held overnight in the Johnson Detention Facility, pending a bond hearing today.
