Clinton Public Safety Officer Stephen Lawton was dispatched to a Florence Street residence at 5:28 yesterday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. At the scene a man named a woman there who he said had been drinking, like everyone there, and had been showing out. Officer Lawton spoke with the woman and she said everyone was showing out, and that she had a mark, as if from an assault. She reportedly pulled her shirt down to show the mark, but none was observed. The Officer advised all parties in the house that they needed to separate, and that if they’ve all been drinking all night, they probably all need to go to bed, noting it was now past 5:30 am.
