The Sheriff’s Office was called to a Western Laurens County residence on Dairy Road at 8:48 Tuesday evening on a theft report. A man said he had left the house around 6pm to work at the nearby family farm and returned around 8:30 to observe his Play Station 3 was missing, along with the blue tin he usually keeps his money in. He said he had $400 in the tin but half of it was already missing. He said he went to Florida about a week ago and returned to find $200 of it gone. He had not reported that to law enforcement. Deputy Hunter noted that no signs of forced entry to the residence were found.
