County Council last night approved two ordinances dealing with Multi-County Industrial Parks between Laurens and Greenville counties, in preparation for industrial growth. Ordinance 790 amends the existing agreement for development of one joint county industrial and business park to allow for the enlargement of the boundaries of the park to include the additional property required a company currently referred to as “Project Needle.” Ordinance #792 allows for the enlargement of an industrial park near the Sterlite complex to accommodate the needs for a company for now known as “Project Zeus.”
