A Woodruff area man is now waiting a General Sessions Appearance after his arrest yesterday on a charge of Violating terms of his probationary release from state prison. 26-year-old Billy Michael Evans of 1645 West Georgia Road, Woodruff was served with a warrant that states he did not report as required back in August and that he is not paying restitution to the victim as required, being $2,485 in arrears on those payments. Other alleged failures noted include Special non-compliance with mental health, public service employment and substance abuse counseling. Evans was also accused of willful violation of terms of his original conditions of release. Billy Michael Evans was being held in the Johnson Detention Center pending an appearance in General Sessions for consideration of bond.
