D&W Fine Pack (D&W) is expanding its manufacturing operations in Laurens County. The company’s $20 million investment at their plant outside Fountain Inn is expected to create 60 new jobs over the next five years.
Citing efforts to meet increased customer demand, D & W said it’s investing in equipment and machinery upgrades for its 650,000 square-foot facility at 1372 North Old Laurens Road, Fountain. Laurens County Council Tuesday evening held a Public Hearing for Ordinance 804, then gave 3rd and final reading approval for the ordinance to allow execution and delivery of a fee-in-lieu-of-tax agreement between the County and D & W Fine Pack. Council also gave unanimous first reading approval for Ordinance 808, which amends the existing master agreement governing the Octagon Industrial Park to include D & W Fine Pack.
