The Laurens Rotary Club presented cash awards yesterday to winners of this year’s Duck Race, held Saturday afternoon during Squealin’ on the Square. The owner of the winning duck, Bella Agnew, was in school and unavailable to claim her $350 1st Place Award in person. Pictured are Rev. David Kennedy, who won $100 for having the duck that placed last and Annette Elwood, who won $150 for her duck coming in 2nd place. Laurens Rotary Club President Brian Harlan presented checks to the winners at yesterday’s weekly club luncheon, while the District Governor and Assistant District Governor looked on.
