Recognition of contributions from the late Courtney Robertson were recognized by Laurens Academy during a special presentation this week. Her work as a Science Teacher at the academy was honored during the presentation between the girls and boys varsity basketball games at Laurens Academy Tuesday night. The event announced that the science lab at Laurens Academy is now named the “Courtney D. Robertson Science Lab,” in honor of her 20 years as a science teacher at the school. Mrs. Robertson lost her long battle with cancer this past October. Numerous family members were on hand for the special presentation Tuesday night at Laurens Academy.
