The Sheriff’s Office made an arrest Friday in connection with an alleged domestic assault. 25-year-old Billy Michael Evans of 3996 Bramlett Church Road, Gray Court was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence. He is accused of causing physical harm or injury or of offering and had the present apparent ability to cause physical harm or injury under circumstances that would reasonability create fear of imminent peril to the victim. Billy Michael Evans was released this weekend on a $5,000 bond.
Fountain Inn Police Saturday Night arrested 54-year-old Harold Edwin Lemarche III of 310 Farrow Circle, Fountain Inn and charged him with Criminal Domestic Violence. The charge in a citation issued by Officer J.A. Smith which cites the offense occurred at 9:10 Saturday night on Farrow Circle. A $5,000 cash or surety bond was set yesterday, and Harold Edwin Lemarche III was placed in the Johnson Detention Center, where he remained this morning.
Clinton Public Safety was dispatched to Clinton Manor Drive at 10:01 Sunday morning where Sgt. Ritter reported encountering a woman who said she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument about a text sent to his cell phone by another female. The altercation reportedly turned physical with the boyfriend jumping across the bed and struck her on the right cheek. He also allegedly caused bruising by grabbing her by the inner arm. 30-yearold Gary Lee Campbell Jr. of 210 Moultrie Street, Joanna was arrested and booked at Clinton City Jail at 5:48 yesterday afternoon. He was being held overnight on a charge of Criminal Domestic Violence.
Clinton Public Safety arrested a local man just before midnight Saturday night on a domestic case. 28-year-old Miguel Cruz of Apartment 73 at 1321 South Broad was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence. Mr. Cruz was released on a $2,150 personal recognizance bond Sunday morning.
Laurens Police were dispatched to Clemson Street at 20 minutes after midnight this morning on a possible domestic assault situation. A woman reportedly indicated her husband has struck her several times with a closed fist. 34-year-old Marcus Juan DeLeon of 505 Clemson Street was arrested on charges of Criminal Domestic Violence and taken to the Johnson Detention Center.
